Servicios religiosos y vida comunitaria

We had a lovely Christmas in howarth 2024, one of my bucket lists was to go to church for the mid night service at howarth. It was lovely, the atmosphere, the reverends speech, just the congregation was peaceful and Christmas in a box. I visit howarth quite a lot since I was a girl. First time I've stayed at Christmas on main street and mid night mass. Brilliant

Amazing church. Very rude and angry random bloke, storming around the aisles, told me off for looking behind a curtain in the choir at the amazing organ pipes. Not very christian vibes lol.

Wonderful little church that was ministered by Patrick Bronte for some 40 years through 1861. The Bronte family vault is located beneath the floor of the east wing. It’s a must see in this part of the world.

St Michael & All Angels Church in Haworth is a beautiful and historic place of worship that is a must-visit for those who appreciate the rich heritage of the area. The church, which is located on Haworth's main street, is a stunning example of Gothic architecture with its soaring arches, stained glass windows, and intricate stone carvings. The exterior of the church is just as impressive, with an old cemetery that adds to the overall atmosphere of the site.

Alas this church was extended by the Victorians and given a makeover (smashed down). The vault of the Bronte family is beneath much concrete and just a plaque marks its site. Worthy of a visit and the church has a few souvenirs to buy and staff on site at the weekend.

Visited the grave of Tabatha, the Bronte's much loved Servant, who is buried off to the right of the sign on the wall as you look at the picture of thd Parsonage. If you are trying to find this it says on the last couple of lines that she was the much beloved Servant to the Bronte family. After you find that line you can just about make out her name a couple of lines up as it is a family plot. Time waits for no man.

we went to this place on 22/06/2022 and did a ghost box session in the grave yard we told the ghosts that we had visited another place where another Bronte was buried in Scarborough but it seems they didn't know they was another one somewhere else which we find interesting the ones talking in the background as we was on about it said we was lying and messing them around but the others there seemed to believe us and said to others to inform other people with numerous names and to ask the noble what ever that is. other things we heard was when we was on about what it would be like there at night time and a voice told us not to go there at night. not sure why they would say that but fair enough haha

I've been here in Oct. 1993...I am from Germany and have been in Rochdale/Manchester for an apprenticeship...I was 19 then. One day we went to York and Haworth for a short trip...and I went also into this church...there were some of those little cards for take away....and I got this one you can see on the photo....carrying it for alle these years in my purse....bc for me it sums up what my faith is all about. Maybe in the the UK these lines are wellknown..I don't know...but here in Germany..I never ever heard of it. I think it is very beautiful and supporting. I hope one day I can return to Haworth and visit this place again...bc I only have good memories about this time in Yorkshire...I liked it very much...
